Once installed on your snare, the cRASHbar will provide excellent protection to your mounted tom's finish. The cRASHbar finish protector is soft, pliable, and easy to attach. Adjustable nylon ends will accept virtually all rods and attach to all types of snare rims - straight, flanged, etc. Designed to fit 6, 8, and 10 lug drums.
Not only does the cRASHbar protect your tom from scratches and rash, but it also prevents shell denting...still a possibility with other solutions on the market due to inadequate material thickness. The cRASHbar provides almost a full inch of protection between the snare rim and the precious finish of your tom shell. These protectors can also be utilized as a bumper between two or more mounted or hanging toms to stop rattle and possible rim damage.
